Business Development Executive

About this role

The ideal candidate for our Business Development Executive is self-motivated, articulate, organised and enthusiastic. Must have strong ability to communicate our services and how we differ from our competitors to a very sophisticated clientele in written correspondence, by phone and in person. University degree is required, preferably with Bachelor's degree in marketing, events, finance, economics or entrepreneurial studies. Skilled usage of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be also be required to efficiently perform the duties of the position. In addition, the candidate will have to thrive working in a small, cohesive team environment and aspire to meet and exceed goals in order to advance their career which is not only possible, but strongly encouraged.

The goal of the position is to manage, improve and drive the business development functions of the firm thereby increasing the number of closed transactions annually. Not direct selling so much as working with wealth managers to increase their development capacity through database management, company and industry research and coordination of sales and marketing outreach campaigns via both written and verbal communications with prospective clients. The successful candidate will report to our Marketing Manager who presently oversees all business development activities and desires a strong Executive to leverage the process for the benefit and growth of the firm.

Desired skills & experience

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or holds CII, CISI or CFA qualifications
  • Confident, motivated and determined
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
